Dr. David Spady was born in Walla Walla, Washington and raised in Seattle, Washington. He attended Walla Walla College for his undergraduate studies and received his medical degree from Loma Linda University in 1976. Dr. Spady completed his internal medicine training at Loma Linda University in 1979 and then moved to Dallas where he completed his training in gastroenterology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in 1983. From 1983 to 2001, Dr. Spady was a full-time faculty member in the department of internal medicine, division of gastroenterology, at UT Southwestern Medical Center. In 2001, Dr. Spady left the medical school to join Texas Digestive Disease Consultants. While at UT Southwestern Medical Center, he was on staff at Parkland Memorial Hospital and at Zale Lipshy University Medical Center. Dr. Spady is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology.

 

Outside the office, Dr. Spady enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. His main hobbies are sports and music.
