Dr. Andrew Holt was born in Orangeburg, South Carolina, and was raised in Edmond, Oklahoma. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Baylor University, Magna Cum Laude, in 1996. He received his medical degree at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas in 2000, where he was elected a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Dr. Holt completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Barnes-Jewish Hospital / Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri in 2003. In 2006, he completed his three-year fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Dr. Holt joined Texas Digestive Disease Consultants in July 2006, practicing in Flower Mound and Keller.

He is board certified in Gastroenterology. Dr. Holt is a member of the American Gastroenterology Association, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and the American College of Gastroenterology. His outside interests include music, hiking, photography, reading, college football and basketball, and church activities. He enjoys spending time with his family.
